Pangkor here I come!

I can’t believe I am really going on a backpacking trip to Pangkor! Really! Finally! After years of wanting to do this – backpacker style! :D

I am feeling very excited where every cell in my body screams “HORRAY!” again, and again AND again! Finally, I am taking my first steps towards backpacking. Very soon, I’ll be ready to do this outside the country! First stop, New Orleans to visit my dear friend Azhar.

It all happened 2 days ago. Can’t remember exactly what I was doing, but all of the sudden I switched on my laptop and start surfing on Pangkor Island. The next thing I know, I was hit by a travel bug :D As though I was destined to do this alone, non of my friends (or colleague) find the idea compelling. Too spontenous they say. But life is all about that! To be spontenous, just do it with minimal planning and worries :)

Gosh I even bought a backpack for this trip! My investment and commitment to lose my virginity as a backpacker! Can?

Anyways, I did some research and came across this awsome site on Pangkor Island and reserved my beach hut at Nazri Nipah Camp for RM30. I hope it turns out as good as how it looks!

a stary encounter

It feels great to not work on Monday. Having said that, I woke up at 7am in the morning, checked my work mail before heading to starbucks at Great Eastern mall to erm…work. *chuckle*

After several minutes typing on my laptop I couldn’t help but notice this guy sitting in-front of me who speaks with an English accent and talked so fondly about music, his trip back to England and his upcoming trip to Redang and such. Then it hit me that he was actually Stephen Rahman-Hughes! (I think!) The guy who acted as Hang Tuah in Puteri Gunung Ledang the musical!

Blardy yummy…and so was the girl whom he was with :D

Starbucks was too noisy for my liking to continue my work so I headed to MPH and got a little bit excited with the books on display. I nearly bought the Teach-Yourself-Pilate and Tarots-For-Beginners set! hehe!

Then I went to the supermarket and bought hell lotsa fruits and healthy food! I need to lose weight already! NJ’s wedding is in 2 weeks time and I wanna look gorgeous in that evening dress!
