APPLE

The best thing about APPLE designed-anything is that they never run out of style! 6 years after, my bubblegum-like-white iBook still look as yummy as ever! Currently serving it’s new master- my dad, Macxine (my iBook) is as good as yesterday and hot as ever!

Hot because it’s a piece of machine that still serves my needs – Wiereless access, CD burner, DVD player. And after all these years, it still look like a million bucks!

I might as well take Macxine back. That might just leaves my dad a less happier man!

Macro again

So after the fail attempt at the Orkid Garden yesterday, I got myself a stalk of red gerbera and started shooting – with some pointers from Alan of cause!

Still need a lot of practice!

Y for yays

So happy today! Bought my bus ticket back to BP this morning, then head over to Alan’s to get my lens hood :p Got one for my kit lens and one for my telephoto lens. Total only RM35! Wah! I must say that Alan does give me damned good discount! Lens hood that he usually sell for RM80, he sold it to me at a dirt cheap price of RM20 and RM15 (the ‘rubbery’, expendable type)!

Then I casually asked him how much is he selling for Canon 450D. I nearly fainted when he said his best price was RM2850 and he’ll throw in a free bag and memory card. Wah! Koara you’re in luck!

I love this moment now. No Monday blues yay! Because I’m off to Bangi for a 2 day training. On English writing skills! Cool! I’ve always wanted to learn how to write proper. Hopefully tomorrow will be fruitful!

D for depression

Feeling a bit depressed at the moment. Maybe it’s the side effect of the injection I had yesterday, maybe it’s just…I don’t know!!

I missed my parents heaps! Can’t wait to go home next week. But before that… had to face the music and hear my aunt nag about me getting the apartment again. Torture!

Going to Pudu tomorrow to get my bus ticket, might pop in to say hi to Alan and check out the macro lens.

Yawns…

Macro

Macro is really not as easy as I thought! First of all, I don’t have a macro lens and I thought I’d survive the ‘magnifying glass’ (that works like a macro lens). Boy was I wrong! The ‘magnifying glass’ has minds of it’s own! I had a really hard time trying to focus on the pedals. Moreover, it was kinda windy so most of my shots came out blurry!

So glaaaaaad it’s the weekend! After looking at some pretty awesome macro flower shots (in my previous post), I’ve decided to that a try too :p

Photographing flower is not exactly my favorite thing to do. Simply because I feel so intimidated by it. The work of nature is like a piece of delicate art – which I have doubts that I would be able to capture the beauty on my lens :(

Anyway, the best way to conquer fear is to look fear in the eye and just fucking do it! So, off I am to the Orkid Gardens tomorrow. If I have time, I might just cross over to the Bird Park :p
